SPEAKERS:

Emily Grunder is passionate about living her life honestly no matter what other people think. She attends Person Centered Services (PCS) where she participates in People’s First, which promotes self-advocacy, learning about rights and responsibilities, leadership, and helping each other find their own voice.

 

Jessica Allen lives independently in an apartment in the rural Calaveras County town of San Andreas, CA. She is a Substitute Teacher Aide in a Head Start classroom and works with children ages infants to toddlers. She loves shopping, cooking, watching movies, and going on vacations.

 

Tim Cabral works at Person Centered Services (PCS) in Stockton. He lives in his own place which he loves! He is a strong self-advocate and has been active in many local advocacy groups. He believes it is important for people to speak up for themselves to live the lives they want!

 

Kevin Valdez, from Ripon, CA found a passion for acting in elementary school. His dream is to make it big in Hollywood as an actor. He attends Futures Explored and hopes to become an advocate to those with autism and other disabilities and make more stories be heard around the globe by sharing his story with others.

Jayme Florez is 39-years old and lives in Twain Harte in Tuolumne County. She has been working hard on taking charge of her health and learning to take charge of her money. Currently, Jayme has two big Goals for her life: aiming toward her eventual “dream job” of working with animals, and getting out on her own for the very first time!
